I’ve said it a million times, “report your injury no matter what.” I’ve had a group of cases recently where the worker did not immediately report and their claims were all denied. It will take valuable time to collect evidence now. Plus, no benefits will be paid during the denial period. So, if you get hurt on the job, always report the injury. Get it in writing. Do not think it will just get better because it started with a little “ouch”. These can turn into herniated discs! Do not think your employers will believe you, because they won’t!
Remember, it is your responsibility to prove you were injured on the job. The best way to start this process is to report your injury when it happens. Don’t second guess yourself. Report, report, report!
